ENHANCING THE MECHANISMS FOR COUNTERING IDEOLOGICAL THREATS: KEY ISSUES AND CHALLENGES

This scientific article analyzes the essence of ideological threats in the context of the New Uzbekistan, their impact on social stability, and the initiatives being implemented to improve mechanisms for countering these threats. The study is based on speeches of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, state programs, regulatory legal acts, as well as scientific works of domestic and foreign scholars. The article substantiates the role of cooperation between the state and civil society institutions in ensuring ideological security, as well as the importance of educational and information policy in protecting young people’s consciousness from destructive ideas. The research findings indicate the necessity of combating ideological threats through a systematic and comprehensive approach.

TRADITIONAL AND MODERN CLOTHING OF THE ARABS OF CENTRAL ASIA

This article analyzes the traditional and modern clothing and jewelry of the Arab population living in Uzbekistan, particularly the Arabs residing in Jeynov village of Mirishkor district, Kashkadarya region. Arab national clothing is an important part of their material culture and reflects the national identity, customs, and aesthetic values of the people. The research results show that some elements of traditional Arab clothing and jewelry have partially been preserved to the present day, although they are undergoing changes under the influence of modern cultural processes. In particular, traditional ornaments such as “gizzi,” “natti,” “bugnak,” and “silsila” remain significant ethnocultural markers of Arab women. The survey results indicate different levels of preservation of national clothing and jewelry among the Arab population: some respondents note that they are fully or partially preserved. In addition, cultural interaction with other local ethnic groups has influenced certain elements of clothing and jewelry. The study demonstrates that traditional Arab clothing and ornaments continue to be transmitted from generation to generation as an important cultural heritage while simultaneously adapting to contemporary social and cultural transformations.

This article provides a socio-philosophical analysis of the poem “The Eastern Girl” by the Jadid writer Shokir Sulaymon. Through the symbolic image of an Eastern woman, the poem reflects her historical and social condition, spiritual state, and role in society. The idea of “awakening” is interpreted within the framework of Jadid ideology, emphasizing women's social activity as a key factor in national development. The article also examines the interrelation of gender issues, social consciousness, and modernization processes.

EPISTEMOLOGICAL, ONTOLOGICAL AND AXIOLOGICAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN POSTMODERNISM AND ISLAMIC PHILOSOPHY

This article provides a philosophical analysis of the epistemological, ontological, and axiological differences between Islamic philosophy and postmodernism. Drawing on the ideas of prominent postmodern thinkers such as Jean-François Lyotard, Michel Foucault, and Jacques Derrida, the study examines the relativization of truth, skepticism toward metanarratives, the deconstruction of the subject, and the socially constructed nature of knowledge. In contrast, the paper demonstrates that within the classical tradition of Islamic philosophy—represented by thinkers such as Abu Nasr al-Farabi, Ibn Sina (Avicenna), and Abu Hamid al-Ghazali—truth is understood as a reality grounded in an ontological foundation, originating from a transcendent source and serving as a basis for moral and normative order. The study argues that the metaphysical realism of Islamic philosophy can offer a systematic critical response to postmodern relativism. At the same time, the critical methodology of postmodernism may also function as an important intellectual tool that alerts religious thought to the potential dangers of dogmatism. The article concludes that the relationship between Islamic philosophy and postmodernism should not be interpreted merely as an antagonistic opposition, but rather as a complex interaction between different philosophical paradigms that, in certain respects, may complement each other.

This article examines the formation of the Jadid movement and its role in the socio-cultural life of Turkestan, as well as the development of enlightenment ideas in the region. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of women’s issues in the works of one of the prominent representatives of the Jadid movement, Abdurauf Fitrat. The study explores Fitrat’s views on the social status of women, their role in the family, the importance of women’s education, and their participation in social life. Based on historical and scholarly sources, the article highlights Fitrat’s contribution to promoting women’s education and enhancing their role in society.

This article analyzes the life, scholarly activity, and role of Fakhruddin Qazikhan, a prominent representative of the Fergana school of Islamic jurisprudence, in the development of Hanafi fiqh. Information is provided about the scholar’s teachers and students, as well as about his scholarly legacy and works. In particular, the content, structural composition, and jurisprudential significance of the work “Fatawa Qazikhan”, which is considered one of the important sources in the Hanafi madhhab, are examined. The article also analyzes the scholarly approaches used in the work, such as relying on Qur’anic verses and hadiths in resolving legal issues, referring to the opinions of the Companions and scholars of the madhhab, and comparatively studying the views of jurists from Iraq and Transoxiana. In addition, Fakhruddin Qazikhan’s theoretical views on ijtihad and the issuing of fatwas are also discussed.

This article provides a scientific analysis of the activities of schools and madrasahs during the reign of the ruler of the Khiva Khanate Muhammad Rahimkhan II (Feruz) in the late 19th - early 20th centuries, their material support, educational content, and role in social life. In the research process, historical sources, chronicles of the khanate period, and works of modern historiography were used. Also, Feruz's contribution to the development of science and enlightenment, and the importance of religious and educational institutions in society were highlighted.

This article analyzes the civil law foundations for concluding transactions involving state property objects, their types, and legal consequences. The study examines the participation of the state as a civil law subject in contractual relations, including lease agreements, privatization, trust management, and public-private partnerships. Special attention is paid to the legal framework of state property management and privatization in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the role of electronic auctions and information systems in ensuring transparency and efficiency. The article highlights key issues related to property valuation, monitoring of contract performance, legal liability, and enforcement mechanisms. It also proposes measures to improve the legal regulation of transactions involving state property in order to strengthen public interests and economic stability.
