In this article, the issues of improving the social life of the local population, i.e. providing employment, through ways of developing international mountain tourism in the Turkestan range are studied.

Hydrochemical analyzes of water content and chemical analyzes of soil samples were carried out using the neutron activation method, taking into account the water input-output balance in the Aydar-Arnasoy lake system. As a result of the analysis of the chemical element composition of water and soil samples taken from the Boymurad mound of the Aydar-Arnasoy lake system and Arnasoy district (Omon Keldi), 25 macro- and microelements were found in the water samples and 33 macro- and microelements were found in the soil samples. On the basis of the primary results, preliminary data on the monitoring of the Aydar-Arnasoy lake ecosystem were obtained.
