SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE TOPONYMICS OF THE MODERN KOKAND CITY

In this article, during the years of independence, the works carried out in the city of Kokand regarding the replacement of the names of geographical objects, streets and various other objects or naming them with the names of individuals are analyzed together with their legal basis. In this, the main attention is focused on cases related to personal names.
