The article describes the social aspects of improving the historical consciousness of young people, and historical consciousness is becoming an important issue of today as an important point of global society. Today's desire to study the true history of the people naturally leads to the development of national consciousness. When thinking about the national consciousness, its aspects that directly affect the formation of the worldview of young people, it is necessary to take into account that the image of each nation, regardless of its size or size, is first of all embodied in its national consciousness and psychology. As one of a number of factors that shape and develop the national social memory of the society, historical consciousness is gaining urgent importance as a political and spiritual weapon in the geopolitical landscape of the world.
