The article analyzes the philosophical foundations of the concept of good character in religious teachings and its axiological (value) content. Good character is a concept that embodies the moral qualities of a person and is interpreted in various religious traditions in connection with such qualities as kindness, justice, patience and honesty. Religious teachings play an important role in the formation and strengthening of moral values. In particular, from a philosophical point of view, the essence of good manners and their role in the life of society and an individual within the framework of Islam, Christianity, Buddhism and other religions are studied. In Islamic philosophy, good character is explained on the basis of the Quran and Hadith and is considered an important criterion of human perfection. In Christian moral teaching, love, forgiveness and humility are considered basic values. On the other hand, Buddhism considers good behavior to be an important factor on the path to spiritual purification and the attainment of nirvana. The article analyzes the axiological foundations of pious behavior in religious teachings, that is, its place and significance in the value system. In this process, approaches from the perspective of philosophy, religious studies and ethics are studied, and the importance of moral values ​​in modern society is emphasized. The article is intended to enrich scientific discussions on the formation of spiritual well-being and moral environment in society by examining the religious and philosophical foundations of moral values.
