
CULTURAL LIFE DURING THE HEPHTHALITE PERIOD

The Ephthalite state was one of the largest states located on the Great Silk Road, and was considered a crossroads for various cultures and trade routes. The cultural and spiritual world of this vast state was also diverse. Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Manichaeism, Christianity and other religions were spread in the regions from East Turkestan to the Caspian Sea. There were also many forms of writing: Sogdian, Khorezmian, Kushan and Ephthalite, some examples of which have survived to us. The article discusses the cultural and spiritual life during the Ephthalite period.
