LEGAL STATUS OF ORGANIZATIONS FOR COLLECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF COPYRIGHT

This article analyzes the legal status of organizations that collectively manage copyright and related rights, the principles of their operation, and the regulatory and legal framework. In particular, the role of these organizations as legal entities in the Republic of Uzbekistan, their powers, and their role in protecting the interests of authors are highlighted. Also, based on a comparative analysis with the experience of foreign countries, the effectiveness of collective management mechanisms and proposals for their improvement are put forward. The article serves to in-depth study of legal mechanisms in the field of copyright and is aimed at supporting relevant reforms.
