DIGITAL RIGHTS IN THE ERA OF GLOBALIZATION: PROTECTION, CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS IN UZBEKISTAN

The article addresses the current issues of digital rights in the context of globalization and technological development. It examines key aspects of protecting citizens' rights in the digital space, including the protection of personal data, freedom of expression on the internet, access to information, and digital identity. Special attention is given to the situation in Uzbekistan, where electronic services and digital identification systems are actively developing, but challenges with access, censorship, and the enforcement of rights remain. The article emphasizes the need for further reforms in the protection of digital rights and the creation of effective legal mechanisms to ensure them in the era of digitalization.
