This article is dedicated to the study of newly discovered rock paintings in the Taloqopgan rock shelter, located in the Kora­tepa mountain range of the Zarafshan mountain system. These images are considered cultural heritage monuments that reflect the spiritual, religious life and artistic expressions of our ancient ancestors. It has been determined that these rock paintings date back to the Stone Age, specifically the Mesolithic and Neolithic periods. The paintings were created by members of ancient hunter communities using natural pigments (ochre). The rock shelter depicts various scenes from ancient times, mostly related to the religious life of the communities that once inhabited this area.
