This article reveals the concept of information security, modern technological threats and their consequences. Also, methods of data protection, international experience and measures taken in Uzbekistan on information security are considered. At the same time, information security threats that have arisen in the context of the rapid development of the global information space and globalization are analyzed from a socio-philosophical perspective. In addition, the article considers ethical and social measures.
