This article analyzes the role and significance of the Women’s Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in enhancing women’s social and political participation. It examines state policies and reforms implemented since the early years of independence to ensure gender equality, the evolution of the committee’s activities, structural transformations, and their outcomes. A comparative analysis of the committee’s legal framework, initiatives, systemic challenges, and foreign experiences is provided.
