ISSUES OF PROTECTING THE RIGHTS AND LEGITIMATE INTERESTS OF INDIVIDUALS AT THE STAGE OF INITIATING A CRIMINAL CASE

This article analyzes the issues of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of individuals at the stage of initiating a criminal case. Particular emphasis is placed on defining the legal status of individuals in order to safeguard their rights and legitimate interests during the pre-investigation stage. The article examines not only national and foreign legislation but also the opinions of scholars.
