COMMUNICATIVE APPROACH AND ITS ROLE IN ARABIC LANGUAGE TEACHING: FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

This article is devoted to analyzing the theoretical foundations of the communica-tive approach in teaching Arabic as a foreign language and examining its practical implementation. The primary objective of the study is to demonstrate how the communicative approach enhances language acquisition efficiency, in contrast to traditional approaches such as the translation-grammar method. The article empha-sizes the significant role of the communicative approach in developing productive language skills, particularly listening and speaking, in Arabic language education. Furthermore, the author explores innovative methodologies for implementing the communicative approach in practice, including role-plays, debates, and the use of authentic materials.
