The article examines the formation of national history in collective memory, the means of its formation, the social influence of historical processes on the life of society. At the same time, in the process of understanding history and knowledge of facts, scientific and practical problems of history, everyday life of society, the manifestation of collective memory, the social image of history, the formation of a social ideal, national specific values, traditional rituals of various social groups in their own way. Development of collective egocentric characteristics are revealed as a result of the impact on the consciousness of community members, which causes an assessment of the past and the formation of social imagination. The role and significance of national social memory in modern global society, the disclosure of its social, socio-philosophical, cultural, educational and political functions is the cause of an urgent problem of our time, leading world communities and some non-political forces have their own views, high In addition to hegemony, conspiracy theories have been identified the problem of creating false historical remedies between peoples and nations and thus preventing the destruction of the existing social order in society.
