The article examines Arab national identity as a multifaceted process shaped at the intersection of historical, cultural, religious, and political factors. It highlights the role of the Arabic language and Islam, the ideological functions of historical memory and post-colonial experience, as well as the impact of globalization on cultural self-perception. The study addresses the consequences of colonialism, the efforts of intellectuals to reconstruct national identity, and the emergence of hybrid forms of self-identification. The role of the intellectual elite in shaping the Arab national narrative is demonstrated, while identity is interpreted as a constructive, dynamic phenomenon open to historical transformation.
