The article examines the ecological situation of Karakalpakstan and its impact on social life, as well as the changes arising as a result of the ecological crisis. It also considers directions for strengthening the principles of environmentally sustainable development and analyzes the interrelationship between the ecological crisis, humans, and the environment.
