The article examines the impact of digitalization on criminal proceedings in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the need to reform procedural mechanisms for investigating crimes in the field of digital finance. The author identifies gaps in legislation related to the lack of procedures for temporarily suspending the circulation of crypto-assets and electronic funds. The concept of a "digital criminal process" and a draft of a new Article 2301 of the Criminal Procedure Code, providing for such measures, are proposed. The work aims to develop an effective model of digital justice that ensures a balance between the efficiency of investigative actions, the protection of individual rights, and compliance with international standards set by the FATF and Egmont Group.
