This article examines the essence and theoretical foundations of the paradigm of moral values in Abu Nasr al-Farabi’s philosophy through the unity of knowledge, faith, moral excellence, personal perfection, and virtuous city. Morality is interpreted not as a set of external behavioral rules but as an integral philosophical system that enables the attainment of the highest end - happiness - through rational cognition, inner conviction, and the practical cultivation of virtues. The study argues that knowledge provides the primary basis for moral understanding, faith stabilizes this understanding as an internal value orientation, and virtuous character constitutes the practical embodiment of the unity between knowledge and faith. It is shown that virtues are formed through education, conscious choice, and repeated practice, while the doctrine of the “mean” serves as a criterion of moral maturity. Within the framework of the “virtuous city” doctrine, justice is analyzed as the central principle of the moral value system, linking knowledge, faith, and virtue and guiding the direction of social perfection. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of al-Farabi’s ethical thought in the context of contemporary philosophical research.
