At the end of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century, the concept of “Pax Americana,” or “American peace,” emerged as a strategic and ideological model in U.S. foreign policy. This concept aims to justify the United States’ global leadership mission through the promotion of democratic values, military superiority, and international security. Representatives of the neoconservative ideology actively supported this idea, providing it with theoretical justification and promoting its implementation through practical foreign policy. In this article, the main ideological approaches advanced by neoconservative think tanks, their conceptual and strategic positions, as well as the meaning of “Pax Americana” in neoconservative thinking are analyzed.
