THE ESSENCE AND LEGAL NATURE OF ADMINISTRATIVE COURT PROCEEDINGS

This article provides a comprehensive scholarly analysis of the essence and legal nature of administrative proceedings in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as their role within the system of public-law relations. Administrative justice is examined as an independent procedural form of judicial review over decisions, actions, and inaction of public authorities and officials. The study focuses on the objectives and principles of administrative proceedings, the active procedural role of the court, the distribution of the burden of proof, the system of evidence, and the relationship between administrative proceedings and administrative procedures. The findings of the research contribute to improving mechanisms for the effective judicial protection of individual rights and lawful interests in the field of public administration.
