ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IN NEW UZBEKISTAN: CURRENT PROBLEMS AND WAYS TO ELIMINATE THEM

This article provides a scientific analysis of environmental protection policies in New Uzbekistan, existing ecological challenges, and mechanisms for their solution. The study employs historical-analytical, statistical, and legal-regulatory methods. The results demonstrate significant reforms in environmental governance, the development of the green economy, and the implementation of large-scale programs aimed at restoring the Aral Sea region. However, issues such as industrial pollution, inefficient water resource management, and insufficient environmental awareness among the population remain pressing concerns. The article proposes the introduction of innovative technologies, the strengthening of legal frameworks, and the expansion of public participation to ensure environmental sustainability.
