This article presents a comparative philosophical and methodological analysis of the phenomenon of virtuality in religious and scientific cognition. It argues that in the context of contemporary information space and digital technologies, virtuality acquires new significance in human thinking, perception, and epistemological processes. In religious cognition, virtuality is expressed through symbolic and metaphorical thinking, spiritual experience, and comprehension of transcendent reality. In scientific cognition, it manifests through modeling, simulation, and artificial intelligence-based knowledge practices. The article examines the ontological and epistemological dimensions of virtuality and reveals their impact on the development of modern cognitive culture.
