NATIONAL INTERESTS IN THE CONTEXT OF TRANSNATIONAL MIGRATION: THE EXPERIENCE OF UZBEKISTAN AND THE USA
Diyora Norkuziyeva ,Abstract
This study analyzes the issue of harmonizing transnational migration processes with national interests using the example of Uzbekistan and the United States. In recent decades, changes in the global labor market, international security system, and demographic shifts have made migration policy a strategic priority for states. In the experience of Uzbekistan, protecting the rights of citizens working abroad, regulating migration flows, and encouraging the return of labor resources are considered an important part of national interests. At the same time, the US model is based on the principles of attracting highly qualified migrants, supporting economic growth, and strengthening national security. The study compares and studies the migration policies, institutional approaches, positions in the international labor market, and economic, social, and security aspects of migration of both countries.
