THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE CONCEPT OF POLITICAL IMAGE AND ITS PLACE IN MODERN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

Abstract

This article examines the theoretical foundations of the concept of political image and its role in the system of political sciences. The formation of political image is analyzed in connection with mass communication, political marketing, cultural diplomacy, and the strategy of soft power. The study also considers the interpretation of the political image phenomenon within the frameworks of realism, liberal institutionalism, and constructivism. The research argues that political image represents a significant strategic resource that enhances a state's international reputation and influence. The article also analyzes the formation of Uzbekistan's international image in the context of modern political and economic reforms.
