FEATURES OF CONCLUDING EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS WITH PEDAGOGICAL STAFF: AN ANALYSIS OF THE LEGISLATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This article analyzes the legal features of concluding employment contracts with pedagogical staff in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The research is based on the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. O‘RQ-901 “On the Status of a Teacher” (2024), the Labour Code, and regulatory acts of the Cabinet of Ministers. The article thoroughly examines medical examination requirements, contract forms, job nomenclature, working time and leave regimes, wage conditions, as well as special procedures applicable to the academic and teaching staff. In addition, a comparative analysis is conducted with the practices of Kazakhstan, Germany, and Finland. The results of an empirical study based on observational methodology demonstrate the prevalence of common practical errors. The findings are of practical importance for HR specialists and legal practitioners in educational institutions.
