This article examines the role of women in the diplomatic system of the Republic of Korea, their participation in the implementation of foreign policy, and their level of representation within the diplomatic corps. It also explores the state policies aimed at ensuring gender equality in South Korea, the increasing share of women within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and their activities in the international arena. The study reveals the contribution of female diplomats to the development of the Republic of Korea’s modern diplomacy, the strengthening of the country’s international image, and the expansion of multilateral cooperation.
