LEGAL MECHANISMS FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE RIGHTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

This article analyzes the legal mechanisms for protecting the rights of persons with disabilities based on international and national legal standards. The study examines the theoretical and legal foundations for ensuring the rights and freedoms of persons with disabilities, international standards, ongoing reforms in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the effectiveness of existing legal mechanisms. It also highlights key issues related to building an inclusive society, improving the social protection system, and ensuring the active participation of persons with disabilities in public life. The findings contribute to the development of scientific conclusions and practical recommendations for further improvement of legal mechanisms for protecting the rights of persons with disabilities.
