This article provides a socio-philosophical analysis of the dialectical relationship between historical memory and modernization in the process of social transformation of Uzbek society. The study examines the role of historical memory in shaping national identity and social cohesion, as well as the impact of modernization on the development of social institutions and social consciousness. Furthermore, a comparative analysis is conducted of the concepts of historical memory, national development, and New Uzbekistan as reflected in the works of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, alongside the theoretical perspectives of CIS scholars on modernization processes. The findings demonstrate that historical memory and modernization are not contradictory phenomena but rather interconnected dialectical factors of societal development.
