This article provides a systematic analysis of the conceptual foundations of targeting and transparency within Uzbekistan’s social protection system. It also develops proposals and recommendations aimed at improving the effectiveness of the Social Protection Registry, enhancing its development, and strengthening its role in ensuring transparency in social policy implementation. To facilitate the practical implementation of these recommendations, specific conclusions and measures for improving the social protection system are proposed.
