The article describes the social and cultural life of the population of the Kashkadarya region of the Uzbek SSR in 1964-1985. During this period, changes in the life of the population in the region, processes that occurred in the social life of the population, the results achieved in the cultivation of agricultural products, as well as the state of health care and public education, were studied in detail. As a result of the beginning of the development of the Karshi steppe, the living conditions of the population improved to a certain extent. Many residential buildings and cultural and household facilities were built and put into operation in the regions. These processes are analyzed in detail in this article.
