ETHNOCULTURAL TRANSFORMATIONS IN THE FAMILY AND COMMUNAL RITUALS OF THE TOQCHI PEOPLE OF THE SURKHAN OASIS DURING THE YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE

The article analyzes changes in the family and communal rituals of the Toqchi people of the Surkhan oasis during the independence period. It examines the ethnocultural significance of Navruz, folk gatherings, traditional foods and games, identifying both oasis-wide and local features of these practices.
