This article analyzes the current state of national music education in the education system of Uzbekistan, the problems arising in the process of teaching it, the causes of these problems, and possible ways to eliminate them from scientific-theoretical and practical perspectives. The research is aimed at critically studying the content of the national music subject, its methodological support, and its application in the educational process in general secondary and higher educational institutions. The article identifies methodological, organizational, and motivational factors that reduce the effectiveness of national music education and proposes scientifically grounded recommendations for overcoming them.
