PECULIARITIES OF DEVELOPING INFORMATION CONSUMPTION CULTURE AMONG ADOLESCENT STUDENTS
Bakhtiyor Juraevich Mukhamadiyev ,Abstract
The article examines the peculiarities of developing information consumption culture among adolescent students from a scientific-pedagogical perspective. The study explores key components of information culture, including media literacy, critical thinking, information evaluation, and psychological protection skills. Pedagogical conditions, interactive methods, and approaches that consider students’ age, abilities, and individual psychological characteristics are also analyzed to effectively develop their information culture. The results indicate that the proposed pedagogical system effectively fosters conscious perception, critical assessment, and responsible use of information among adolescents. In addition, it strengthens media literacy and develops competencies necessary for conscious and safe behavior in the digital information environment. The findings provide both theoretical and practical foundations for implementing modern approaches to cultivate information culture in educational practice.
