GENDER ASPECT OF THE UNICEF POSITIVE PARENTING PROGRAM “1000 AND ONE DAY”

F.A. Akhmedshina ,

Abstract

The article considers the critical importance of the first 1000 days of a child's life, starting from conception and ending with the second year of life, as a basis for his further physical, cognitive and emotional development. The key factors affecting health and well-being during this period are analyzed, including nutrition, medical care, emotional support and early learning. The long-term consequences of insufficient care and support during this period for human health and socio-economic potential are also considered. The study highlights the need for a comprehensive approach to support mothers and children in the first 1,000 days to ensure an optimal start in life.
