ECOTOURISM AS A CATALYST FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE CONSERVATION IN THE PAMIR MOUNTAINS
Kamola Akramovna Akramova ,Abstract
The Pamir Mountains, a region rich in both natural beauty and cultural heritage, have increasingly become a focal point for ecotourism. This paper explores the role of ecotourism in the conservation of cultural heritage in the Pamir Mountains. By examining the intersection of sustainable tourism practices and heritage preservation, this study highlights the potential benefits and challenges of ecotourism as a conservation strategy. Through a review of current literature and case studies, we assess how ecotourism can support the preservation of cultural sites, traditions, and local communities while promoting sustainable development.
