
GEOSTRATEGIC INTERESTS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF CENTRAL ASIAN STATES

This article analyzes the geostrategic interests and characteristics of the Central Asian states. The geopolitical significance of the region, its natural resources, strategic transport corridors and interactions with global power centers are studied. The advantages and limitations of regional cooperation, the national interests and foreign policy priorities of each state are also considered. As a result of the study, the geostrategic specificity of the region, in particular, priority areas within the framework of economic, political and security issues, were identified.
