SAJ`: MIRROR OF MEDIEVAL ARABIC PROSE AND ITS REFLECTION IN “MAKAMOT AZ-ZAMAKHSHARI”

Abstract

The article presents information about rhymed prose - sajj, which was formed in the Middle Ages in Arabic literature and entered the category of artistic arts, about the formation of this art and its types. And also analyses the work ‘Makamot al-Zamakhshari’ written by the great scholar from Khorezm Abul Qasim Mahmud Zamakhshari, what kinds of sajj are found in the work.
