CONCEPT AND TYPES OF CRIMES COMMITTED USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the legal, criminological, and technological aspects of crimes committed using information technologies. Based on the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law "On Cybersecurity," and international experience, the paper examines the types of such crimes, their legal elements, investigative challenges, and approaches to ensuring digital security. The study identifies current issues through the analysis of statistical data, investigative materials, and comparative legal review of foreign legislation. It also offers scientifically grounded and practical recommendations for addressing these issues. The article holds both theoretical and practical value for law enforcement agencies, cybersecurity professionals, and researchers.
