
THE HISTORY OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE INTERNAL AFFAIRS BODIES OF UZBEKISTAN IN THE 1970S AND ON THE EVE OF INDEPENDENCE

This scientific article analyzes the history of the activities of the internal affairs bodies in the 1970s and the period before Uzbekistan gained independence. The article studies the role of the internal affairs bodies in maintaining order and security in society under the leadership of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the processes of their organization and development. It also examines the effectiveness of the police in fulfilling its main tasks during this period, such as ensuring public order, combating crime, and strengthening the rule of law. The article analyzes the structural changes, personnel policy, and public relations of the internal affairs bodies of Soviet Uzbekistan.
