THE AUTHOR’S STYLE IN WRITING BURHANIDDIN MAHMUD BUKHARI’S WORK “ZAKHIRA”

Abstract

This article provides a scholarly analysis of the writing style in Burhaniddin Mahmud ibn Ahmad al-Bukhari’s work Zakhira. It examines the author’s methods of argumentation, linguistic and stylistic features, his reliance on the Qur’an and Sunnah in substantiating juridical decisions, as well as his use of such methods as qiyas, istihsan, ‘urf, and maslahah. The work is compared with other collections of fatwas and is also studied from the perspective of modern academic research.
