PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPTS OF HISTORICAL CONSCIOUSNESS AND AXIOLOGICAL WORLDVIEW

Dilnoza Innatovna Asadova ,

Abstract

This article provides a profound socio-philosophical examination of the interrelation between historical consciousness and axiological worldview, framing them as foundational categories of contemporary social philosophy. The author conceptualizes these constructs not merely as determinants of social cognition, but as epistemic structures central to identity formation, cultural continuity, and ideological legitimation in post-totalitarian societies. Historical consciousness is analyzed as a reflexive modality through which societies internalize their past, incorporate it into the present cognitive landscape, and project future social orientations. In parallel, the axiological worldview is interpreted as a normative framework for value-based perception and critical evaluation of socio-cultural phenomena. Particular attention is given to the context of Uzbekistan, where these concepts undergo a transformation influenced by national revival, postcolonial reconstruction, and global dynamics. Through a critical lens, the article exposes the selective narration of history, declarative nature of value systems, and risks of ideological reductionism. Consequently, the study affirms the role of these categories as conceptual instruments for ensuring societal coherence, cultural resilience, and philosophical integrity in the modern world.
