TRANSMISSION OF HISTORICAL HERITAGE AND VALUES IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUTH IN UZBEKISTAN: A SOCIO-PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS

This paper explores the socio-philosophical dimensions of how historical heritage and cultural values are transmitted to the consciousness of the youth in Uzbekistan. It frames heritage not merely as static material artifacts, but as socially constructed and dynamically reinterpreted elements within collective memory. The study analyzes the complex mechanisms of intergenerational value transmission, including selective appropriation, ideological framing, and media mediation. Particular focus is given to the dangers of excessive idealization and mythologization of history, the romanticized perception of the past, and the resulting detachment from historical accuracy. Additionally, the tension between traditional collectivist norms and modern liberal individualism is critically assessed as part of the identity formation process.
