This article discusses how our great ancestors have, since ancient times, made invaluable contributions to the treasury of human thought; the importance of moral and ethical qualities; the enrichment of young people’s devotion to their Motherland; the idea that the Homeland is the most sacred and precious domain; and that loyalty is one of the noblest moral and ethical virtues inherent in humankind. The paper emphasizes the necessity of educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, highlighting that the national independence ideology and its core concepts and principles are reflected in the national holidays celebrated in Uzbekistan. It also examines the crucial role of local communities (mahalla), the family, and both preschool and school education systems in fostering patriotism among youth. Moreover, the article explores ways to cultivate in individuals a deep sense of moral virtue and awareness of fulfilling one’s duty of loyalty to the Motherland.
