SOCIO-ECONOMIC LIFE IN THE TERRITORY OF TURKESTAN–UZBEKISTAN SSR IN THE 1920s

This article analyzes the issues of socio-economic life in the territory of Turkistan–Uzbekistan SSR during the 1920s. It highlights the changes that took place in society following the establishment of Soviet power, the formation of a new socio-economic system, and the processes of national-territorial delimitation. Particular attention is paid to changes in the living standards of the population. In addition, the article examines women’s education and the “Hujum” campaign.
