THE IMPORTANCE OF THE PRINCIPLE OF PROPORTIONALITY IN THE APPLICATION OF PROCEDURAL COERCIVE MEASURES IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS

The following article analyzes the role of the principle of proportionality in the application of procedural coercive measures in criminal proceedings. It examines the essence of this principle, its expression in law, its application in practice, and the problems in this regard. It also discusses ways to protect human rights, increase the efficiency of investigations, and ensure a fair trial by ensuring the principle of proportionality.
