MUTUAL RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES IN THE LEGAL AID AGREEMENT: THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS

This article analyzes the legal nature of legal assistance agreements, their procedural formation, the mutual rights and obligations of the parties involved, and common practical challenges. It explores the position of such contracts within civil law, highlighting their implementation in both paid and free forms. Special attention is given to the legal roles of the client and service provider, types of liability, termination conditions, attorney-client privilege, issues of undeclared service fees, and inconsistencies in contract templates. The article offers specific recommendations aimed at improving legislative clarity and ensuring transparency in legal service contracts in Uzbekistan.
