BELIEFS OF THE UZBEKS OF THE FERGANA VALLEY RELATED TO FIRE

The article explores the role of fire in the daily life of the Uzbeks of the Fergana Valley and its reflection in ancient religious beliefs such as Zoroastrianism, shamanism, and folk rituals. It discusses the perception of fire as a symbol of purity, prosperity, and protection, as well as the cultural significance of the hearth and bonfire. The study also highlights the role of natural elements fire, earth, water, and air in shaping traditional ecological culture.
