This article analyzes the institutional and organizational framework of state policy in the field of religious education in Uzbekistan. It will cover the regulatory framework governing the religious education system, the activities of authorized state bodies, and the role of educational institutions. Issues of ensuring religious tolerance and developing educational approaches to countering extremism and radicalism will also be considered. The importance of modernizing religious education, implementing international experience, and maintaining the harmony of national values is substantiated. The importance of religious and educational factors in ensuring stability in the field and educating young people is revealed. Attention is paid to the analysis of the concept of education in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the concept of religious and secular education, the right and foundations of education, the possibilities of religious education, the institutional and organizational-legal foundations of religious and secular education.
