THE ACTIVITIES OF THE INTERNATIONAL ATOMIC ENERGY AGENCY IN ENSURING NUCLEAR SECURITY AND ITS IMPORTANCE IN STRENGTHENING NUCLEAR SAFETY IN THE CENTRAL ASIAN REGION

Abstract

This article analyzes the institutional role of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in ensuring nuclear safety, as well as its significance in strengthening nuclear security in Central Asia. The study examines the IAEA safeguards system, control mechanisms over nuclear materials, and international cooperation processes aimed at preventing nuclear proliferation. In addition, the role of the Agency in reducing nuclear risks and enhancing regional security in Central Asia is assessed.
