This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the socio-historical processes related to the ethnic composition and religious views of the population of the Syrdarya region based on the principle of “past, present, and future.” The study examines the historical roots of the ethno-confessional environment formed in the region, its current state, and future development trends on a scientific basis. In addition, the impact of factors such as migration, urbanization, globalization, and the expansion of the information space on public consciousness is revealed. The article also analyzes the factors aimed at strengthening interethnic harmony and religious tolerance and substantiates the priority directions for ensuring social stability in the region.
